No need to thank him. Hopefully he will come down to earth at the end of the first Test. Let's remind him arrogance can kickstart downfall.

I'm just too very annoyed to settle for 1 or 2 good days in this match. Ricky ponting got away with a win after the 'on-the-wire-5-days'...but even that will not be enough this time. I sincerely hope and pray that our boys dont let india win this match out. Go tigers.. get us a Draw atleast(if not a win)!

Bowlers are doing a fantastic job so far. Now its almost time for our Batsmen to really take the game seriously and give birth to a MAMMOTH-looking first innings.

I think we should totally block out thoughts of a draw for now.Let's try and get a lead between 100-200. Once the 2nd innings comes, if India by miracle play a big innings, maybe then.

I feel that if our first innings finishes by 1st hour on day 3, we would definitely get a result. So let's target a win. (Sakib if you are reading this, this is very important.)

Now let's not get too ahead of ourselves. Our main target tomorrow will be to bowl them out as quickly as possible - no way should they reach 250. Next, we should look to bat out the rest of the day, and hopefully well into day 3. I just hope the pitch starts wearing out towards the end of day three - a lead of at least 100 is essential. India will come back strong in the second innings. I just don't want us to lose from here. Draw will do for me, if a win seems too far away. Our point would have been proven as long as they don't win.

^^@CricketKing, I meant draw is not possible since one innings has already gone (almost) after day 1. We can win or lose this..draw is much harder.

Yes, we prob shouldn't get too smart, so maybe keeping No.10 and 11 in might backfire.

I see what you're saying, and I agree to an extent, but it appears that the pitch is flattening out. Hence, there is a chance that batting will become much easier, and so both our first innings and India's second innings may hold large scores that would take a day or two to accumulate, thereby increasing chances of a draw.

Guys the game jstu started, reading this forum or even reading CI sriram article make it seem as if we won or smething. Nothing hapened. we just won a session and a half...and we didn't even do all that of a good job.

Remember we still have to bat. And India still got 12 more wickets left. If we don't win this test match (probability isn't so high given our previous records under situations like these) or India get a chance to declare with 19 wickets gone.. we still haven't won anything.

this premature celebration needs to stop.

if you celebrate winning a session, you are exactly what they claim - ordinary! It's like that celebration of that bermudan fat bowler in wc07 as if he won the world cup after taking one Indian wicket.

that should be "fat bermudan bowler". bermudan fat bowler means a bermudan who bowls blobs of fat.
