BD Pace Attack in This Pak Test Series – 2011

Well, we are affluent in spinners. But I wonder how much pace attack we need in this situation in this Pak series - to be effective and successful?

And who will be our probable best pacers in this series? As Shafiul is not in the Test squad, it seems to me BCB is not focussing on BD pace attack. If so, is it our best option to depend too much on our spinners?

And how is Mash in coming back from injury?

Yeah crazy to ignore Shafi. I'd take Rubel and Nazmul out of the available resources. Wouldn't mind Reza much either since batting is on thin ice.

I read in PA quoting akram khan that shafi is not fit enough to bowl longer spells required in a test match. he might be sent to aus or sa for the treatment of his injured heel. for the first test I would pick rubel & robiul, and nazmul if 3 pacer are picked. I really hope they start playing 3 pacers. Shakib & sunny are good enough for a complete spin attack. plus there are other spinner allrounders in the team as well. but I know they will weaken the bowling attack by picking shahdukh the spraygun.

Rubel should be the automatic choice for both tests and possibly Nazmul at the other end with him in Chittagong?
