Default Nazmul injured: Mahbubul Alam Robin to play in the 3rd ODI

Our problem with the pace bowling department is growing. Nazmul has injured himself in the practice and the thigh strai has ruled him out of the third ODI tomorrow.

Mahbubul Alam Robin will replace him in the playing XI. This can be potentially a significant blow as Nazmul was doing good with his pace variations.

Let's hope Robin utilizes the opportunity to seal his place in the playing XI.

Any sources for the news bhai?
This is really a disaster for us, we have at least 3 bowlers from the possible starting line up missing......[nazmul/rubel, Mash, Razzak]

Bangladesh in Zimbabwe, 2009
Mahbubul and Mehrab in for the 3rd ODI
13 August 2009
Bangladesh's problem with the pace bowling department is mounting as Nazmul Hossain became the latest casualty in the long list after suffering a thigh strain during practice at Bulawayo today.

I thought Zunaed was doing all right. Some of his off-side strokes were classic and he play spin better than some of our batsmen. His fielding is poor but he is such a good and powerful striker of the ball, he should have been in the team for the next match.

Nazmul was doing good against Zimbo, they way he finished the Zimbo tail in the first ODI is not very common for a BD bowler.

Whatever .. good luck.

nazmul-razzaq-rubel-mashrafe-sakib(after 3rd match should be rested)

so, we are playing our B team bowlers, lets see what they can do.

why mehrab, Imrul should have gotten chance, i think junaed was doing very well, last match partnership was great.its stupid decision. Junaed was consistent since 20/20, he was contributing in some way

Zunaid was coming into some sort of form. Dropping him was not wise.

Mehrab in for zunaid?

It should have been Imrul. Mehrab is not an opener. He is too slow..!!!!!
