Speed tracker at World Cup 2015 (bowling)
During the NZ vs Eng game while Eng was batting they showed a list of fastest balls bowled by bowlers in that game.
150.1 Adam Milne.
Did anyone hit 150 as of yet in this WC?
Career stats for those who are playing in the current WC: Johnson (156.8), Steyn (155.7), Malinga (155.7), Wahab Riaz (154.5), Milne (153.2), Roach (152.7), Morkel (152), Finn (151.9), Yadav (151.8), Mo Irfan (150.6), and Cummins (150)
What was the fastest clocked for our boys Rubel and Taskin in the 1st match?

148 is not bad. Thanks. And yes, Warmups don't count.

Taskin can easily reach 150kph if he stays fully fit for next few years.

ek tu astey. There is nothing easy to gain speed up to 150 from 140s. Those extra few km are the hardest.

And those extra kmph increase the risk of injury significantly.

Both Mash and Soumya were bowling around 128km in the match against Afghanistan. Soummya bowls without extra effort but has a good pace as a part timer.

I have been compiling top speeds for all bowlers this world cup. Final data will be posted after group stages (unless BD progresses).
Wahab is fastest at 96 mph (possible speed gun error but everyone records fast balls in AUS, plus he is known to be an express).
Fastest in our game was:
Hamid 90.1 mph
Rubel 89.8
Taskin 89.6
Shapoor 87.5
Aftab 86
Mashrafee 82.5
Mirwais 81.6
Rubel and Taskin avg was 87, while Hamid avg was only 83.
So the myth that AFG seamers are faster than BD was soundly busted!

Swing or Speed? Southee was bowling Mashrafee stuff or slightly faster and got some killer swings. Would you rather have Steyn or Mitch? Waqar or Wasim. It's blonde vs brunette kind of argument...
I think CI and other stats sites should start listing bowlers speeds (revs/spin for spinners, arc/swing for Fast-Med etc.)

That is 90.49 mph.
We need verification. If someone watches the game in replay may be can confirm this?

I'm almost 100% Rubel's fastest was not 145 kph. It was around 144 kph while Taskin was around 143.6.

I'm going by what cricinfo's Hawkeye was reporting. How do I know if its accurate? I cross-checked the broadcast speeds with CI and they were exactly the same.
Also the broadcaster isn't showing the speeds for all deliveries due to replays and stuff.

I can also confirm this that the fastest bowl bowled by rubel the other day was 144.5 kph
I kept my eyes on the speedometer as I am also keen to know how fast these guys can bowl upto as they are playing on fast bouncy tracks

149 today by Irfan. Although the average speed was 135. Way below our quicks.

Gabba was a perfect platform to bowl in the 150s. Taskin and Rubel missed the opportunity,

That says he bowls variations. He's not throwing flame all the time. Avg speed is stupid. They shouldn't count the change off deliveries.
