I understand the frustration over Farhad, but why so hate on Zia? Do we have a better option? He is definitely not the world greatest all rounder, but he is what we have and it's about time that we need to give him a chance. Put it this way, who would you pick out of Taskin and Zia? (You can't choose both)

I love Taskin and his attitude and aggression as a medium fast bowler. He's one of our future bowler for sure. Zia, on the other hand, is equipped with raw power. If he can connect with the ball, boy does he connect or what. Some people say "if" he connects with the ball then it's all good otherwise another Ullah. Fair point. But Zia's bowling is not that bad and his batting has improved and we have seen a glimpse of it recently against the lankans when he was batting with the last man.

I am very happy with Zia's inclusion purely because we don't have other lower-order batting all rounder who can match Zia's power hitting ability.

taskin for rubel is a more like for like replacement, zia doesn't have the pace and is much more comparable to reza who both bat a bit better than rubel and taskin. or do you pick a spinner as replacement? it comes down to what sort of team/squad you want available. do we want someone with pace? then you bring taskin. do you want more of a medium pacer who can hit? then you take zia or do we forget about pace and take another spinner? it's not always necessarily about who is the better cricketer/all rounder sometimes it comes down to team dynamic and strengths e.g. we already have reza who is similar to zia but with rubel injured do we have someone who has that pace? no. so before selecting a replacement the selectors need to analyse the situation and decide whether they still want someone with that sort of pace or whether they want another bowling all rounder or whether they now think it's better to stack the spinners.
