BCB got a new supplier of Uniforms, for free!!!
Bangladesher Khela
Ehsan sports (Mazid Khan is a director of the company) of Pakistan made an agreement with BCB to supply uniforms for our national team, as well as the A-team, U/19, U/15, U/15, and coaching stuffs for those teams, for next two years. They will also supply T-shirts and other clothings used in practice sessions. Yearly cost of all those uniforms is estimated to be $80K, and BCB has to pay nothing. BCB will also get royalty from BD team's replica T-shirts and trousers Ehsan sports will sell in market.

Mazid Khan is Imran Khan's cousin and father of Bazid Khan.
I have to say I don't like the modern tendency of incorporating colour into test cricket whites (apart from sponsor's logo). There is enough colour in ODIs already. Leave test cricket alone.

GP do not supply the uniform, they sponsor our team for other costs (players salary, food, lodging, etc.), so the players have to use GP's logo on their uniform. Uniforms were supplied by AJ, and those were free only for the national team, BCB had to buy uniforms for the A-team and age groups. Now they don't have to spend money for any uniform anymore.

its not mohabbat...its good business sense. To be the kit supplier for a test-playing nation is no small publicity...and also remember that they are getting the major cut of any replica sales which I would imagine would be considerable for our massice market of cricket-crazed public.
My only wish is eventually we will have a home-grown supplier that has the capacity to supply BCB (or rather CB) with their kit requirements and indeed other countries as well.

At long last we got rid of AJ Sports as our kit manufacturer. At least Ishan Sports want to sell out kit to us supporters.
Ishan Sports has similar kit deal with Zimbarware Cricket Board. Due to the political turmoil there, there previous manufacturer Bata pulled out of their kit deal. Ishan Sports stepped in and provides the kit to Zimbarware team free but see it as a publicity to get the company name branded about in international cricket. However I have not seen replica Zimarware tops being sold.
With this new kit deal, the BCB should be able to get some extra income and us as fan hopefully can purchase official replica shirts!
