Wow we're in the worst group; Aus, Eng and NZ are terrific in those conditions.

You are accurate minus England. It's been tough going for them. The sooner they're out of that place the better for them.

Against Pakistan India always have a good chance of winning, especially their batting crumbles without no reason from time to time. If you swap SL with IND in groups, India has almost no chance against NZ and AUS ... little against ENG given current form - so it's always a better group. However, India has long AUS tours to settle things down ... let's see whether or how much they can learn.

India-Pakistan WC record is lopsided. In bouncy pitch countries India is ahead -http://stats.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/stats/index.html?class=2;host=1;host=2;host=3;host=5;opp osition=7;spanmin2=01+Jan+1970;spanval2=span;team= 6;template=results;type=team
