Did shift through bits in the video but I think Bangladesh was least mentioned.

PSL needs to move away from UAE if it wants to retain credibility.

Thank you, brockley for sharing this documentary. Very disturbing trend in the sport of cricket. Very concerning.

Yes, thanks brockley for sharing this. I couldn't stop it as it was kinda jaw-dropping for me secretly hoping they would reveal few crickets' names. But they didn't.

All the bookies, brokers, middle-men, mafias are Indians for ages, yet you don't see ICC/BCCI do anything about it. If it gets media attention, few players may get a ban- but that's it. In the history of banned crickets, English names never came up till now.

It's huge. Hopefully, ICC will properly investigate and take this as an evidence.

Thanks guys.
On reflection is bad from world cricket.

Baulked when I heard most players you get for UAE tournament in the bag.
Those guys basically play in every tournament.
Think the BCCI buried a case years ago including DHoni and others, maybe we are seeing an ongoing effect from that.
But yes England and Australia its bigger as they pride themselves on being clean.

But yes they said they have some from every country in the bag.I can only imagine.
But yes every tournament or test series in UAE should be banned after hearing their Board in this.

Rajeev Shukla's "no comments":

FYI, Following the scandal over alleged corruption and spot-fixing in the IPL, Shukla resigned as its chairman on 1 June 2013. In 2015, Shukla was again appointed unanimously as the Chairman of IPL by the BCCI.

Not sure if game result or tournament champ is fixed. But there are definitely variety of fixing+betting involved in IPL.

When CSK and RR were banned for "betting activities" of their key officials, I think that the players were also involved. However, BCCI had to take national players out of the picture and some jodu-modu were instead victimized. All the sting operations show that all the bookies/middlemen involved in cricket-betting are from India and yet their players are seldom caught or punished since Azharuddin's time (except Sreesanth).

David Richardson admits 'criminals' are 'swanning around' cricket, targetting players and leagues in response to Al Jazeera's doc.

It's a bit shite innit? It exists and spot fixing is happening as we speak. Raising our pitchforks and cudgels in support of "all cricketers" by claiming the game is all clean as an angel's, ain't gonna cut it anymore.

The fan following has died down quite a bit for Cricket in OZ and things like this will only make it worse. Turd crims are stuffing it up and lackey players are raking in the moolah.

Cheers
Siraj

Wondering why they had to highlight Bangladesh with Ash in the picture.

But it just shows how corrupt the game is and how easily players can be made to spot fix.
