A series of three One-day International and one Twenty20 between the two continents Asia and Africa will be held in India from June 5 to 10.

The series starts with a Twenty20 match to be held in Bangalore on June 5. Next day the two sides will play first ODI in same city. Last two matches will be organised in Chennai on June 9 and 10.

members of the selection committee are ASM Fauque from Bangladesh, Chetan Chauhan from India Lalith Kaluperuma from Bangladesh and former Test opening batsman Mohsin Hasan Khan to represent Pakistan as the member of the Afro-Asia Cup selection committee.. The committee will meet on May 11 in Dhaka to finalise the team.

i think there should be at most 3 indian and paki players in the asian team. the rest should be from BD and SL who could actually qualify to the 2nd round of the WC. *nods*

Personally I dont like this idea of playing continental teams against each other. because I dont find any team spirit in these kind of teams. Due to the cultural and lingual difference, players face problem to coordinate each other. So even if you compile a team like this (in a short period), players seem to lack proper enthusiasm on the field. Giving these matches the official status is more ridiculous. I hope ICC will stop thinking these farcical ideas.

you are quite right if bangladesh beat india in forthcoming siries but who more bangaldeshi player you want in ASIA_XI there is no more bangaladeshi player who is deserve to bi in the team if there is any one you can tell me but also writes why

BD players should not go. Waste of time for them. Last time Inzy did not let Ash and Mortaza play much at all. Bunch of racists, don't let our players play. I would much rather BD players take vacation during that time and not waste it playing (or in paper, playing, but in reality just sitting on their asses in the dressing room) for Asia XI.

I would go with 11 Sri Lankan Players. but since Russel Arnold retired, Ashraful will play in his place and Mashrafee in place of fernando who was a waste in semi final and in final

I watched this match against BD vs Asia 11 in Dhaka Stadium during Wills Cup. Abdul Qadir started to bowling with an Orange or something. Now that could be the lowest you can get to during this sort of matches. It never works. Cricket is not Soccer - where the round 5 number ball tells it all. Its cuccabura, willow and something more.

Don't blame other people as racist without knowing correct imformation. In the first match ASH was chosen, and he scored a duck. Pulled S Pollok, and caught. He was also chosen for the third match as the substitute of Murali, but the innings was not played due to rain. Only Mash was not chosen for any match.
