Wimbledon in the UK has lost of alot of following. In the past even before the games started I would see tons of people in their gear. There would be a huge queue inside and outside the station. The local shops were extremely busy.

Past few years you get to see not much activity.

Unless its a Nadal vs federer final, no point bothering, last final was a farce.

Djoker dont get the same amount of praise as nadal or federer but if you look at some of his records they are absolutely outstanding and some of them are better than nadal and federer

Someone truly understands sports.

I pray and hope your worst case scenario never comes to fruition.

Right outside the main station they would have a small court set up. They would get some tennis celebs to play some exhibition matches in the past.

Last 4 years the stupid organisers have taken away that and put the snake like partitions for queues which have not been required.

So what happens in Wimbledon areas are that the wealthy rent out their houses to players and go on holiday. I get to see official Wimbledon cars taking the players to the matches but have yet to see someone famous.

Also the residents of Wimbledon have a lottery for tickets. My boss has gotten them quite a few times.
