List of Excuses

So over the last few days we have seen a laundry list of excuses --

1. No head coach
2. BCB or Papon
3. Countless directors
4. Walsh being useless
5. Shakib's poor captaincy
6. Rubel and death overs
7. Seniors not justifying their spot
8. Juniors not contributing
9. Poor fielding
10. lack of talent

and many more..

so we are ranging from administrative (BCB / directors) to managerial (Walsh and staff coach) to player themselves (poor captaincy / not responsible batting).

so where does the issues lie? we can't fix the problem until and unless we implement a fix.

This time Papon didn't showed up to players hotel and gave a Jhari.

1 - we've hired a coach

2 - give Ullah captaincy in t20

3 - play Hider, Mustafizur, Taskin, Al amin

4 - Tamim should go more aggressive early, instead of playing anchor

5 - Shakib needs to give himself 10 balls

6 - Das is stupid

7 - Sabbir should bat 3 and go aggressive

8 - Das should keep

9 - batsmen need to learn how to bat aggressively along the ground and rotation

I think it's all the above. But also, Afg is a pretty good side! Great for cricket, but bad for Bd.

I exchanged messages with Mufi today. Looks like we will get it done this weekend. Will be for an hour. Just want to see what we come up with. What we do with the product is another thing. Would be cool to get some branding behind it from BC, but if not, that is fine too. I want to do a podcast with you as well. Let me know if you are down, we can pencil it in for the weekend after this one.

I think there is a direct correlation between :

(a) Why our team is struggling, and
(b) Why so many high profile coaches refused to accept BCB's offer.


The reasons are same for both cases.
