RR and SS on the other hand will fight to stay out of bottom 3.

Imrul,Ryad,Momin and a bunch of uncaped young players
Just hoping for TI,Sakib,Mushy,SS,Sabbir to start performing, then BPL will be very exciting.

Both Liton and Tamim were fined 50% match fee and given three demerit points in the last match, for misbehaving with the ump. One more demerit point, each will be suspended one match.

Tamim not only harming himself with his dramas, he is also a bad influence on younger players. To think he is next in line to be our Test captain is cringeworthy!

does domestic and internationals have separate demerit point? what I am asking is for example I have 2 demerit points from international game..I conduct a violence in a domestic game after..does this count as 3 demerit points or 1?

I guess Sylhet finally figured out Zafrul Ehsan is not really cut for the job at this level -

Waqar comes to Sylhet’s rescue

‘We are looking to bounce back tomorrow [today] as we won the first three games. Unfortunately some injuries hit us little bit but we are here to do extremely well in this tournament and every game is a fresh game and we’re going to come hard in the next matches,’ Waqar said.

Waqar, who has been the head coach of Pakistan national cricket team and Multan Sultans in Pakistan Super League, promised to help both the bowling and batting group of Sylhet team.

‘I’m trying to help the fast bowlers and I’m trying to help the batsmen as well. I mean I’m in the business for last many years and I know how it works and I work in the all these leagues also.’

‘I think we got experience. We got [Tim] Bresnan, Liam Plunkett and couple of very good youngsters also, Raju [Abul Hasan] is there and they are very talented kids,’ he said

BPL will see a larger group of Pakistani players from this round on -

Left-arm pacer Junaid Khan and leg-spinner Mohammad Irfan have joined Khulna Titans while another left-arm paceman Mohammad Amir has joined defending champion Dhaka Dynamites. Amir practised with the team at Mirpur Academy Ground in Dhaka Sunday and is expected to play against Comilla Victorians Monday.

Veteran all-rounder Shoaib Malik had already played the last match for Comilla. Pakistan captain Sarfraz Ahmed was released by Khulna, and later he joined Chittagong Vikings.
