BDFlag BCB u-17

The BCB U-17 team took a 105-run lead over the CAB U-17 side at close on the second day of the second three-day match at the Comilla Stadium on Friday. The hosts declared their first innings on 262-7 before the CAB reached 14-0 when the stumps were drawn for the second day. Resuming on 41-0, BCB U-17 added 221 runs with skipper Liton Kumar Das making a brilliant half-century. Liton, who scored 80 off 109 balls, struck 10 fours in his innings. Opener Rafsan al Mahmud contributed a patient 70 runs off 271 balls with six boundaries. Mosaddek Hossain, who wreaked havoc on CAB’s batting line on Thursday with his six for 36 runs, also contributed 23 runs.

Is Liton the guy who scored the most runs in some school tournament?

I'm sure the u-17s have played a few one-dayers prior to this match, anyone know where I can get hold of the full tour details?

When is the next time the u-19s will play?

Visitors save their blushes
Sports ReporterA rearguard half-century from Shuvam ensured a face-saving draw for the CAB Under-17 side in their three-day game against Bangladesh Under-17s at the Comilla Stadium yesterday.

The visitors batted out the final day of the game, scoring 137-7 from 114 overs.

Shuvam, an opener, made 67 off 213 balls with six boundaries.

He hardly found any support but in the end, Pritam and Adrish battled it out as they hardly gave the home side a chance to take the eighth wicket.

The next game will be held in Sylhet.

Surprised to see little interest for the u-17s

Why does BCB U-17 play against CAB U-17 ?

We could have all our divisional U-17 play with CAB. That would help to give a match practice to more boyz and identify more players.

right call.

CAB is hardly that much important.
giving exposure to more cricketers should be our policy for future.
