Default Best performence of Pilot

Pilot seems in his peak now.

He not only scored the valuable 38, he probably did his all time best wicket keeping.

He took 6 catches in the 2nd innings!!!

you mean peak.

And yes, the reliable batting continues. And he has come around his bad wicketkeeping days it seems.

For me, it will be the best performance of Pilot - IF WE WIN THIS MATCH, otherwise, it will be the same ol' story.

Why are you so hard on Pilot fwullah?!?!? He tried his best....he didnot throw his wicket away....his was the most consistent and cool performance along with Kapali....Poor guy gave his all on the field too...its a hard job being a wicketkeeper and one of the main performing batsmen of the team...playing with the tail most of the time...

and what does that mean? Going by your logic no performance by any BD player should count coz we haven't won any real matches since the WC!!!

With all due respect, you are being hostile towards him for no real reason.

PS: I hope your dad is doing better.

Default Re: Pilot

With all due respect, we are all not Pilot fans - it's just that we see no logical reasoning behind your constant bashing. And going back to the what happened in the WC, pushing the entire blame on Pilot is oversimplifying the cause behind the debacle and exonerating all the other player for their poor performance. I think we all agree that the probe report fairly identifies some the reasons behind the poor performance- Pilot's behavior being one of them. But there were other reasons too such as team management and coaching. I feel the confidence and the shot selection of our infamous batsman played a bigger role in the demise than Pilot alone.

All BD cricket fans were devastated by what happened in the WC. I think it's safe to say it was a painful experience for everyone in this forum, something that all of us wish we never have to relive again. Most of us have dealt with it and moved on.

P.S.- Gald to hear that your dad is recuperating.
