Mentos in Diet Coke

Have any of you tried the 'Mentos in Diet Coke Experiment'? It's pretty cool. I recommend you try it

. All you do is put Mentos in Diet Coke, close the lid, shake the bottle, open it and run! Or you can put Mentos in Diet Coke, close the lid, shake the bottle, and bounce it.

Heh we tried this last week. It's a lot of fun... but you gotta waste a few bottles trying to get it work.

question: do i have to close the lid b4 making it run? .....if the lid is close then how does it happen actually? .....that means u need to hurl it with pressure so that the lid opens is that correct?

I don't know why u didn't put this on: this video was actually the first coke and mentose experiment i saw....now there are just too many now...
