I have found a foolproof way to beat India to the Super 8 stage
Bangladesh beats Sri Lanka
Case closed.
PS: Very complicated I know.

Press your capslock again, coz I think your foolproof process is the inverse effect of exactly what you're trying to do.

Tigers don't wait for others to get them food when they are hungry!
Everybody knew that SL/India match was going to be crucial...but now it's do or die...the race for 2nd is on "Neighbours"...do I sound arrogant? I don't care I do...but I prefer using another word...PROUD!
Come on mash...Sri Lanka ke dhore dibani...what do u say???

well ..i did my calculation so far..considereing the scores stay close on rest of the games and India beats SL ..and we loose to SL ..then Ind will go to super 8 with SL...
we need to beat bermuda by a margin of about 4.985 in net run rate ...
that means ..if bermuda scores 200 runs ...we have to chase it down under 22 overs...very tough..
soo easier option...your full proof idea

I paid a lot of money to a gypsy lady for this forecast:
India (262/8) beat SriLanka (188/all out);
Srilanka (304/7) beat BD (222/9);
Inspired BD (315/7) beat Bermuda (140/all out)
India and BD go to super 8, because BD's run rate 1.148031 which is higher than SriLanka's 1.446619

Oops, correction....
Inspired BD (335/8) beat Bermuda (140/ all out); BD's run rate 1.48031 over Lanka's 1.446619

I really hope SL beats India, I highly doubt we can beat the NRR...I don't know about u guys..buy I was pretty mad the way we were playing toward the end of the game against India...all those overs left with so few runs to chase..we could have finished the game earlier..then Ashraful just blocked an whole over to give mushfiq the final run..how stupid is that..very unprofessional..this is the world cup not a test and NRR can always be an issue...not cool...

BD beats SL ... that is the only option at this point. Everything else will cause too much stress and suspense.

Or rain washes out the Ind-SL or BD-Sl match. All full proof solutions.

Rain drops keep falling on my head...
If BD v SL is rained off:
then SL has to beat IND to go through. IND cannot qualify.
If SL loses to IND, SL can have a maximum of 3 points. So BD need only beat Bermuda to qualify with IND and carry 2 points in S8.
If SL v IND is rained off:
IND can have a maximum of 3 points. BD qualifies if we beat Bermuda. SL can go through if they beat BD otherwise NRR between IND and SL.
So, practice your rain dances. But be careful ! We do not want even a raindrop on the 25th.

man the way they were playin in the indian game at end was so stupid...they could have finished it a lot earlier because wickets are of no use to them. I don't know why they were waiting so long. They could have atleast finished it 5 over before. This may come back to haunt them later on

Here is the scenario: SL beat BD, and Ind beat SL. BD can still go by scoring 350 against Bermuda, bowling them out within 150, and having a close game with SL. I think Aftab, Tamim, Sakib, Ash can score some quick runs against Bermuda's mild pace and spin.

Haradhon you mite be rite...but in your calculation there is only 4 run rate deference between Bangladesh and Bermuda..it all depends how SL looses to Ind ...how how BD looses to SL (if that happens) ...
the final calculation will be 23rd after the Ind SL game...I hope we don't have to bother about it...
23rd e SL all the way
