CLOWN cricketer of the World Cup

It is time to get rid of the biggest “CLOWN” of the cricket world. I am talking about the Habibul Bashar, the captain of Bangladesh cricket team. Most of the sports journalists are talking about his stupid captaincy. Here is some:

1. Bangladesh lost against England due to wrong captaincy of Habibul Bashar
2. Why he came to one down? Even though, he shows poor performance in the whole world cup (total 71 runs in 7 matches)
3. Why he was standing like a stupid in the middle of crease and got run out (BD vs England)
4. How come he gets 3 times run out in this world cup
5. Why Ashraful send back to 6 down, after his excellent performance against South Africa
6. Why Bashar brought to top of the betting order after his worst performance
7. Bashar is a burden for Bangladesh team
8. Why Bashar should not kicked off from the team
9. and so on and on….

I know one answer....He is the most succesful captain and batsman in the history of Bangladesh Cricket and Im sticking by him and expect him to kick a$$ in the next couple of games. Thank you!

He is the second biggest clown in Cricket. The first one is Mike. Mike Vaughan that is.

Journalist's doesn't have cricket knowladge, let alone captaincy. They write what they can sell. some write good and some write bad. And yes Bashar has not done good recently and i don't think he will do any good in batting in next two matches. But he is best man for the captaincy job, any one with good cricket sense and experience can tell, there is noone else at this moment can do his job at the WC.

He also got Bashar run out, and Bashar took Vaughan catch. Looks like a lot of interaction between the two.

Please dont over react. Have a look at the following link of Banladeshi newpaper. These questions are just compiled from there. We love our cricket team than anyone else, but due to fault of our captain we cannot give up easy chance.

what! we lost the game because our batsmen didn't bat well, plain and simple. had it not been for our bowlers' efforts and bashar's captaincy, we wouldn't even have come so close to winning.

We should be discussing his problems..maybe criticise.. but make fun of him? not acceptable. Trust me..if he quits from ODIs..we'll loose the home series against INDIA. He performs or not..our players has accepted him as our ricky ponting for the time being.

I second that. Quite a few threads are results of short attention span. Guys, please read a few of the other thread and try not to repeat stuff. Also, lets stand behind our captain. Now is not the time for bickering.

Instead of posting that reply, you could have easily clicked on the "Report Post" and voiced your concern. That would have made everything much easier. As a matter of fact, mod action on your post was result of someone else's report.

Report Post is there for a reason, we encourage members to use it when they see something that is inappropriate/duplicate/redundant/forum rule violation/or just pure insulting.

Moderators and Admins cannot read every single post. It is also member's duty to help moderators and admins to keep the site clean.
