Congrats Nasir, please continue to support Shakib and building a fairly stable team.

See he wanted more thus got out. If it was Riyad or any other player from bd, he would have blocked to survive. Fearless Tiger in the making

Is this the fastest century of a Bangladeshi batsman after debut?

btw he should be our permanent batsman for 6 from now on in ODI. Riyad can't handle so either drop him or play at 3 or 7/8.

A big congrats to Nasir. Scoring a century in ODIs is really something and he did it so quickly. I could tell that he had something really special in him once he got in to the squad against Zimbabwe. His attitude was really impressive for such a young guy. Him and Shuvagata came in at the same time but Shuvagata was awful in the BCB Cup while Nasir continued to be impressive. And then in the WI A team match he dominated again. That's just showing class there. Great to see we got such a good player now. We need these type of special players in order to succeed.

His off drive off Gul's 147 kph ball was sublime. Great batsman. Has ways to go.

This has got to be one of the most useless centuries on the face of the Earth, but I still feel we're wasting him down the order. I know people are comfortable keeping him at #7 (or even #6), and I understand where they are coming from, but the team's needs come first and right now we need to strengthen the top order. From what I've seen of him, he does seem technically capable of surviving the heat at the top. I mean, we have guys like Kaedge and Mofees in the top order for God's sake.

Have not we seen that with Mushi too? We wanted Mushi at top for Zunaid, Rakib, and above losers you mentioned. It wont work that simple replacing way. Let Nasir do good and be consistent where he is doing now. We do have problem with top order, so to fix it, bring someone from local league if needed who plays in top. Going for temporary fix by replacing incomplete players is a both way losing case I think.

True, but the replacements that are being mentioned have horrible List A stats. I'm generally against putting players into positions that they are not accustomed to, but Nasir does seem to be the kind of guy who would fit and there I think is the difference. Plus Mushy hasn't done terrible when pushed up the order, although the last couple of games wouldn't indicate that.
Ok, now how long before Nasir's scores start looking like his telephone number? :P
