Pakistan v Ireland (10:45 local | 09:45 GMT | 10:45 BST)
Lets hope Ireland wins, need them to choke Pakistan Batsmen.
News from the middle is that Pakistan have won the toss and will bat. Max Sorensen and James Shannon miss out for Ireland while John Mooney is serving the final game of his suspension for his now infamous tweet about Margaret Thatcher. While Asad Ali, Wahab Riaz Abdur Rehman and Umar Amin are left out from the Pakistan squad.

Last time I checked, they were 71/1 off 19. Now 261/5 off 46. Someone must have gone mental with the bat.

We should tour Ireland now that we have world class fast bowlers such as Robiul, Sajidul and Ziaul. They won't stand a chance.

Ireland won fair and square. DL method can go kiss its own ***. Irl won by 10 runs.
Why ICC rules sucks, reason number 217: D/L system.

Impressive performance by the Irish. The game might have been officially "tied", but Ireland has clearly won it in all measurement.
At home, any decent side can turn them into a formidable one and Irish just showed today that they aren't a pushover in their home soil. This performance is also a good reflection of their continuous improvement.
On a different note, given today's result and how Bangladesh and Ireland aren't too far off in terms of their quality and ability, our 3-0 series win against them last year now looks far better accomplishment.

We should be playing Ireland every year the way we play with Zimbabwe. They're a quality team and our boys can learn a lot by playing them.

stirling is a beast, 5 tons and 6 half tons from 39 ODI innings striking at 96, average of 40 with only 1 not out. 5 ODI tons from 39 innings, that's impressive for anyone let alone someone playing for ireland (they might play some lesser teams but also play the big teams to - 2 of those centuries came against pakistan). only 22 as well so people who say don't throw the young'uns into it, well some can handle it.

Stirling is also on England's radar as well. That's how big of a prospect he is. That's why Ireland should be a Test playing nation. It's time they become one

And to think that they are not even included in the WC 2015 as a full member team.

Sterling is the pride of Sylhet Royal's.
So is the £
Anyway, I think Ireland has become competitive enough for BD, we can tour.

England is not that desperate anymore. I mean they were so desperate they took Ed Joyce, and that guy was a total flop. Morgan is one fine batsman, but his inclusion in the england team had a lot to do with who they had in their team at the time. Now they have a good set of core players, and some really good young players on the pipeline. I don't think any Irish players will be playing for England anytime soon.

which hopefully will be good for ireland in the long run, always thought it was a bit tough on ireland when their players kept leaving to play for england. i don't know if they have that sort of depth now to handle it but they haven't in the past and it's a big blow for the smaller teams to lose those players.
