TIGER FRIENDS!!..have you turned the corner now? :D
You had some impressive performances in the Asia cup but for me It all started against my mighty windies!!...you managed to nick the ODI series 3-2 and after that you went to Sri-lanka and managed to draw the first test after putting up a big first innings total.
Fast forward several months and you've drawn the test series vs NZ and are leading the ODI series!!..so the question is has BD cricket finally turned the corner and become a serious test for the top eight now?
Firstly i still believe against us our team took BD lightly in those first few ODi's and the Gazi factor was still new at that time!!..and when we pulled our socks up and really dug in at 2-0 down we all saw the difference. But now i see a different side!!..a side who really believes in itself and is looking a bigger threat at home with each series that passes!!..of course NZ are one of the lower ranked sides so we can't go too overboard but in the next few years it will be interesting to see how BD cricket grows!!..i think a test series win will eventually arrive but still the need for pacers will be the overriding factor in whether you can follow in sri-lanka's footsteps and go from "minnows" to serious contenders.

We are now good enough to claim that we are a good side at home conditions.
BTW I don't think the win against WI wad massive because WI are not the best in these conditions. The Asia cup was bigger because we played well against teams to whom these conditions where like home.conditions
will be a good feat if we can beat your boys in your backyard.

True it will be tough for us but can't say that WI are as strong at.home.these.days because they make spin tracks instead of pace friendly wickets hence got thrashed 3-1 by Pakistan

I swear to God, what you do is so annoying! It's like me hanging out in a fan forum of a team which I don't support. I can't fathom such antics, and hence why I find it so unbearable. Sorry, just felt the need to say this. Arghh, I'ma throw up.

But for us the Gayle factor, Roach factor, Russell factor was new. Once we got a good look at them in Mirpur, we won the deciding match convincingly.

Aus says hi
SA to some extent as well, if you ignore our t20 win awhile ago. But then again we will rarely ever get the chance to play them in a full series.

I am not going to comment on the WI series. We won with the mighty WI even after they were accustomed with the local weather, pitch and didn't take us lightly in the decider.
+++
New team it is. Without Shakib winning comfortably is truly a team effort. Shakib is what Sobers was. He could influence a game with the bat, ball or by inspirational catches. so unbeaten 6 in a row against NZ in ODIs. Not bad.

Well firstly pakistan have never won a test series in the caribbean!!..secondly they caught us just at the right time in that series!!..we beat them in the champions trophy in england, after that we had to play a tri series vs India and Sri-lanka both of which we beat in the first two games!!..but we just ran out of steam in the end and during the tri series Pakistan were well rested and that showed during our series against them.

What you call ignorance is not the reality of my perception. It is more ignorant rather to dismiss the other side of things and brush it under the carpet as intolerance, which is the word I think you were looking for in the first place.
But check this out, I'm not intolerant, I wouldn't have dignified your thread with a response otherwise. But I do find such congratulatory threads coming from other fans of other cricket nations highly patronizing, especially when they make such badly disguised efforts to remind us of the minnow tag every step of the way. It is annoying, and it isn't the first time you've done this either. But please, don't let me stop you, post away. But be sure that I will express my irk everytime from now on.
