Mashrafe and Co. fined for slow rate!
Don't care about the fine percentage deduction from match fees, but the main problem is if he repeats the offence again, then he will be suspended for one match of the World Cup. De Villiers has already received one of them.

Guys, I hope team management take note of this. There is no way Mash can exceed the time limit next time....or else we are screwed. I hope he is aware of the rules that he can be suspended if he is found short on time again with his team.

With that many spin overs and game not finishing they still got fined?

Mashrafe should take a break from the NewZealand match, that way he will be fully fit for the QF.

For his health reason I think so too.
FYI: SL once took Chandimal (WC - captain) out of the lineup after a slow over rate fine. The rules still applied on Chandimal once he came back to the side.

Don't worry it won't be a problem against NZ. They will not be having too much discussion during bowling and fielding changes considering the importance of the game. I think he'll be fine.
