Actually I like the answer.

Cricket is the only game where there is almost no accountability for the umpires or referees. Elite panel umpires make mistakes after mistakes yet enjoy free rides.

SJ Davis added that to inflate our slow over rate.

I kinda knew it would happen from the get go.

Usually when the count down starts on the screen the opening bowler is already taking his mark and ready to go. The moment umpire signals play on the bowler starts their run up. Clock starts.

Last night, after the count down Mash started to loosen up and going through the motion with the ball and bowling to his nearby fielder. At least 3 or 4 times. A BIG NO NO. He should have known this by now.

Then in the first few overs whenever the batsmen took a single from the first five balls, fielders were lethargic to move. Switching sides was a slow motion process. Left hand - right hand.

I knew they would be behind the clock. 30 overs of pace we never did that before. On field seniors need to hurry up so that the juniors can learn a thing or two.
