Default Dec 17 2018, 12:30 PM BDT 1st T20I,West Indies tour of Bangladesh at Sylhet

It's T20 Time! Perform well, make the big bucks all around the world!

1st T20

Who will feast? Will Aklemalp chomp down on goat curry and plantains, or will Shingara bro run amok the best alu puris and dal puris in the hood?

Sorry for my own gluttonous projections on others...it's great a coping mechanism on a diet though

Our Preview

Aklemalp, would you know what happened to Lendl Simmons, Andre Fletcher and Chadwick Walton? Why they weren't selected for the ODI team nor the T20 team?

Selection for these teams are based on performances in the local competitions.

Something which is worthy of criticism.

Even though Cornwall, Rahkeem performs in both FC and List-A, they don't want to select him, because they say he's too fat.

**** these ******s

Is that really true? Or does WICB have some sort of beef with them just because they participate in BPL and IPL? I tell you, something really rubs me the wrong way how that board handles their players.

Thread title needs to change I think. This will be a day only T20 match. They say it's due to flood light problems. But I wonder if the real reason could be that BD team does't want to play in a slippery condition in the evening where basically the toss decides the result.

Mufi ain’t even Sylheti. I’m repping Sylhet on the podcast as an (almost) completely authentic Sylheti fua.

Btw my Bangla is peak so I don’t know what you talking about.

It's true.

To get to the senior team, players have to perform in local comp.

This doesn't make any sense for a team that looks to build a group of players. Right now, our T20 team is a group of players without any cohesion at all. They hardly play together.

We need a leader. There is one*

He leaded his team to World cup glory two years ago, and it is not Darren Sammy

Goat curry and plantains?

That's a weird combo.

Goat curry goes well with dhal and rice

My lineup would be

Tamim
Liton
Mushy
Mithun
Shakib
Riyad
Ariful
Saifuddin
Apu
Hider
Fizz

Dont think Soumya is the best T20 player, Mushy has been performing well up the order in this format, Ariful and Rony should be given a long run in this format and I think Apu would be more effective then Miraz.

Poor cricket from TAMIM. Not expected from experienced player. Already got a life. Over was good singles and twos were coming. See it out assess it well then attack.

Nice shot Sarkar!!!

They are targeting 230-250 it seems.

Liton Das needs to get his act right far too much soft dismissals. We live in a different era not early 00s this needs to stop

Just because it's t20 it doesn't mean you go gung-ho and stop playing proper cricket shots. How does Kohli and Kane's score runs?

Shakib timed some brilliant shots on the off. Sarkar and litons will never learn in this format
