If this is the picture of very first over then what can you say? Nafis gifts his wicket fishing outside off. Then Aftab comes in.

What does he do? He hits a 4. How does he do it? He edges it to third man region. He could might as well be caught with that type of shot. And exactly that happens right next ball.

Is there any way out? What a lame bunch of ducks .

We have problem of facing new ball ... after playing so many years still Basher, JO, etc do not have any clue how to face quality new balls effectively. They live on luck ... so most of the time you cannot score runs with luck only.

One solution would be play domestic cricket in grassy wicket... or at least few grassy wicket should have around the country.

I think Nafees need to get back to the league and do some more practice before coming to the national team again. As for Aftab, he saved himself by bowling great today. But i'd never put him as 1st down. That's bashar's spot. Yea I know he's not scoring either but I think he shud always play there. Then Rajin, Ash, and then Aftab. They need to bring bidyut/Rokon/Opiee for the openning position again. We shud always play 6 batsmen in ODI or Test. Well all this is not for the 3rd ODI. I am talking abt Indian series.

U r right. They live on luck. Then we think they are good players. Actually, the y r not. They have got poor batting technique against new bowling.

Yes a very poor batting performance. I dont know what their problem is. Ash got out again trying to hit every ball for 6. What is his problem, this isnt 20 -20 cricket.

Its all Ash's fault

since when we started playing this bad? when ashraful went out of form. in many occaions before ash single handedly pulled the team out of dark hole. and now that he is out of form, we stay in the dark hole. the whole team was all the same before as it is now. as soon as ash come back to form the team will have the "slope of improvement" we used to have before.
