Glazer wins control of Man United
US sports tycoon Malcolm Glazer has won control of Manchester United in a £790m ($1.47bn) takeover bid.
The American has secured the 28.7% stake owned by Irish racing tycoons JP McManus and John Magnier, and now has more than 70% of the Premiership club.

NOOOOO.......... The one thing is didnt want to happen... Im hoping he does ge tthat 75% or 90% plus one share. If he gets 75% plus one share he can put his debts on the club..... SO SAD....

Effectively Man United will turn from one of the most financially sound clubs to a debt-ridden club.

Well the worst has happened. Glazer has over 75% of the team. He now has complete freedom of the club.

He is already planning to raise prices. In America this is a normal occurance. I dont think it is in Europe.
