Default Sri Lanka Tour of India- 3 Tests, 3 Odis, 3 T20Is

17/3 in the 1st test...

Lakmal with some fantastic bowling.

3 wickets for no run

Good start for Sri Lanka, although i think this is a nice opportunity for India to boost points, and improve averages.

I just cant comprehend why India and Sri Lanka have to keep playing each other. I bet even Indian fans are sick and tired of trashing the Lankans.

Sri Lanka should play against Windies more.

The most played series:
SL V Pakistan
SL v India

Those are always astonishingly long series that gets boring to early

Pakistan often makes things interesting by losing to SL, we generally don't, hence our matches against Lanka are in a different league of boredom.

I was making a contextual assumption/opinion

Yeah, in Sri Lanka.

Sri Lankan fans literally threw in the towel somewhere in the middle of the ODI series

Looking at the scorecard so far it looks like this is a seam friendly pitch..ashwin and herath combined just bowled 10 overs.

at least the organizers are trying to make this match interesting, a spin friendly or batting wicket would have been easy win for india

yeah it started off as a greentop..the Indian seamers are still getting the ball to move all sorts of ways but havent consistently put the ball in the right channel. all 3 quicks going at about 4 an over on a greentop. SL batters have done well to attack as well plus Herath is playing a superb knock.

SL should go all out in their bowling, give 200%..this is a rare opportunity. although it'll be very tough to get india all out below 200 twice in the same match in their den but if SL can do it they'll win their first test in India

Seam friendly wicket, SL should believe this is possible.

Obviously, considering that Lanka are the paragons of seam bowling and greentops worldwide.

Good to see KL getting some runs, played some superb innings against Eng and Aus. We need him in all three formats.

SL had a 100 run lead, if SL somehow managed to bowl India under 200(as my post suggested) they would have had a target of less than 100. you might be the worse batter in seam conditions still you will fancy chasing that.

in this seam pitch SL got India out once under 200, even if they are not the paragons of seam bowling you cant curse them if they belief they can do it again

I dont get your sarcasm at all at my post

Dhawan and buvi released for personal reasons. Could've been a good opportunity for shaw, he's in form, home conditions, weaker competition.

Ishan porel, he's a young Indian pacer, looks the goods, could be a very good bowler for them, hope they don't stuff him up.
