I understand your point of giving him full series, but we are clearly short of a seamer in the line-up. We must play an extra seamer in the next match. Who would you drop then? Other names are Junaid or Rakibul, but always Imrul is one to go to give chance to a seamer. That is why Imrul needs to be dropped from the first XI to give a chance to a seamer.

Why Imrul needs to be dropped from the Srilanka series if he still plays and fails in the 3rd odi? I am taking about dropping from 1st XI. Imrul needs to tried in the home soil also before dropping from the team unless we find estra-ordinary openner in the meanwhile...which is not gonna happen we know

This is for the sake of team combination. Nayeem is never a fifth bowler. Was he considered a 5th bowler in domestics?? We are a bowler short and to add a bowler Imrul is the one to sit out. It's sitting out in the bench, not out from the squad.

Imrul, zunaid will never be opening solution with their current technique in International level. I have never seen a balanced shot throughout today's innings from them. Ashraful will always be same anywhere you put him. 1 or 2 match winning innings in a year. As long as we cant find an oppening partner for tamim i would like him to open again. Certainly he would be better than any other opening pair in current team. Musfiq rahim is useless at down the order. Since dhiman have left us no choice but to keep rahim in team, no 3 spot would be something than nothing from him. Naeem should be where, he is now, no need to experiment him opening slot. He would do exceptionally well in future, he got some good batting techniques. Opening is specialist spot you just dont experiment anyone there.

Yes. People here were too eager to bring in Imrul and now that he has failed as expected, they are too eager to get rid of him. This is not the way to make things work. We should avoid debuting new players every series and if we do, we should be happy with their responses on the field because most of the time they aren't ready to face the music.
