Default Jonathan Agnew - England's BIGGEST match now is...

I just thought it deserves a thread on its own because it makes us feel really good.

Jonathan Agnew, broadcaster of BBC Radio Five Live, just said after the match Ire v Eng that England's BIGGEST match now, even bigger than South Africa match, is against BANGLADESH in ctg. This is going to be huge.

and guess who has the advantage

Look at the fearless spirit showed by Ireland, Bd really needs to learn from them. When shuvo was taking drinks against India, he was telling tamim not to chase, clearly it was the message of coach/sakib. We need to raise our courage. To do big, we have to atleast dream big.

Well its easy to criticise i nthe hindsight. If we got out for 200 against India you would certainly say they should have play for NRR blah blah. The way we were playing that day we should have scored 320 atleast, but no sense talking about past now.

Now to your point, we showed our tougher side in the game against Ireland, didn't we. Winning from a losing position and beleiving all the way that we are gonna win certainly showed a lot of mental strenghth and strong character. We are not that kind of team anymore. So keep hanging beside the team and I am sure u'll have lots of good things to say about the team later. Cheers.

SA will dust them off, so it doesn't even matter if they beat the WI not

Cause if they beat the WI and we Only win the NED game than it's England (5 Ponits) vs Bangladesh (4pts) for 1 QF spot

If they lose to the WI and the Only game we win is still the NED game than it's England (3pts) vs Bangladesh (4pts) for 1 spot

Thats only if we do the bare minimum, We can very well have punched our Ticket to the QF by than

We kicked India out of world cup last time. This time England is going to get a kick. Come on tigers.
We will kick three Lands countries out of worldcup this time. One already down...two to go.

Most of all we need to go into a game to win from now on.... each and every game.... and not to worry about what other teams are doing. We take care of our business.

England will beat South Africa and the West Indies to reach the quarter finals. So, the Bangladesh game may not be as important.

ummmmm.....my interpretation was that Bangladesh is THEIR biggest match because THEY believe that we are the easiest of the lot to beat!

Hence, I don't consider it an honor.

All BD supporters need to be vigilant about two things :

1.A special honeymoon pitch for ENG batsmen is being laid at Chittagong.
2.Dressing room asking batsmen not to chase runs and go for an 'honourable defeat'.

The BD supporters must protest if they notice any of the above mentioned is taking place.

stop finding excuses for every losses or future losses and .. win the match ...
freaking conspiracy theorists...

Ireland won the match in the same ground where Eng and India tied.....
so don't you look to beat England in a flat pitch then.. even if that is the case in Chittagong....

Do not forget that it was the Sun group tabloid 'News of the World' who exposed the recent spot fixing scandal though some smart sting operations. They even employ Ex- MI6 /MI5 officers to do investigative journalism.

If Tamim can stay 50 overs, our score will be 360+. He should consider making a conscious effort, like Sehwag did before the WC began.

Given the current state of Group B, we need to concentrate on beating WI and NED. Then we should be in. More wins will ensure better opponent for the QF.

Let others do their job, let us do ours. If it is a flat pitch, bat first and put 350+. ENG will find it difficult to chase against our spinners. Our pace attack is no longer a slouch. India match bowling notwithstanding.

Love the way these Indians deny the fact that the ICC do everything they can to ensure big teams get through while us little guys are played for chumps. It's flippin' obvious we didn't get our 'home-advantage' pitch. Not saying we would've won for sure, but it certainly would've been a hell of a lot closer. Freaking ignorant Indian fans.
