Your Dream Car
For some reason I have always drooled over this car ever since playing NFS2 back in the days. I always used to play with this car. I loved it more than the overrated Ferraris and McLarens.

The reason these are dream cars is because they are so way out of reach... There is no harm into looking at really flashy, ultra cool cars...

Sami i know u had been to dhaka just few weeks back... but incase u have completely missed it, those colorful and noisy 3-wheelers are HISTORY in case of Dhaka now. Only the gas-run green colored (and bit less noisy) ones wll be found here. Not a bad change I would say.

I didnt miss it Ahmed bhai. Green CNG 3-wheelers have been one of my main mode of transport over 3 consecutive summers in Dhaka along with the CNG bus services that has recently started from around New Market via Kalabagan to the Gulshan area... Amazing these buses really. U actually get to have a seat. ![smile](images/smilies/smile.gif) No more of those amazing "6 Number buses" and the tickets are pretty affordable too.
But the colorful predecessors to the CNG 3 wheelers are one of the worst things the vehicle monitoring authority (dunno what they are actually called) could have allowed on the roads of BD.

I've been on the CNG last time I went over 2 years ago... My thoughts: they are a brilliant change! less-noisy, environment-friendly and goes pretty fast too woo
However at that time CNGs weren't available easily.. luckily there was a CNG-filling station near my house + a taxi stand ![smile](images/smilies/smile.gif)

Theoritically, those 2 strock 'baby' engines are harmful to environment. in practice, looking at a different point of view, fency cars are harming the environment even more. here is how, imagine how much money each of those fency cars cost. why so expensive? because it uses more assets. more and more of limited assets of this planet are gone into building those car that has no better use than a honda civic or ford escort.
btw, I'm not really in love with 'baby taxi' but its a part of my memory about the dhaka city. thats why i posted it.

... and just to clarify... My "Shame on you comment" was just a joke. If I were to think u were serious abt the baby taxi being your dream car... that doesnt say a lot abt myself, now does it... :duh:
its really tough on the mind when one has to come clean abt jokes... lets move on.

Well guys, those are 'dream cars'.. let's not spoil the mood... our planet is already being destroyed in millions of other ways... if you were rich enough all these arguments about environment, earth, resources would go down the drain and you'd only care about your fast, sexy supercar that looks good, rides good and attracts the ladies too ay
besides, technologies and resources haven't evolved enough to make these cars more eco-friendly.. majority of people still do own cars like honda civics and ford escorts
I was watching a tv show about cars called 'fifth gear' and they were showing this environment-friendly 4wd.. yes a 4WD... Lexus something.. it uses a hydro-powered engined which generates electricity from the kinetic energy produced by the moving wheels... 0% emission so u can basically put your mouth on the exhaust pipe all day (while the engine's on obviously) and still not die! cool huh?.... costs like £30k i think... not bad if someday you aspire to own an expensive but environment-friendly vehicle ![smile](images/smilies/smile.gif)

I just sold my 5.0 litre Mustang GT. Running out of money with school and all. Now I have a Chevrolet Canalier. Went from 8 cyl. to 4 cyl.
In the future, I'd like another Mustang. I like the old American type Muslcle cars, with the rumbling sound.
Sadly, the future of these cars may be in doubt.

My favourite care?? Not sure.
In reality, I would like a Honda S2000.
In my dreams, it would be a Ferrari of some description (most likely an old Testarosa). I don't care what people say, Ferrari's are the best cars on the planet - pure thoroughbreds, born to drive fast. Mmmmmmm, ferrari ...
