what will be the measure for WC team selection?

There will be no one day match or even practice match (except the national league) before dec 31.
That is the deadline for announcing the 15 member team to ICC.
I am wondering how our selectors will act for that. Hope they won't consider the performances of the test matches to be the only measure for team selection. If they do that way, then what will happen with Tushar Imran, who didn't play in the test and couldn't score in the only ODI he played against WI.
What will happen to Rokon? His OD performance is pretty bad lately.
What is the latest condition of Mashrafee? Will he get a chance?
What about Sujon? Will the selectors consider him?
So far I see Alok, Pilot, Sumon and Ashraful are going through - which is confirm.

I don't think Ashraful will do better in the world cup, because he is still weak against pace bowling on fast tracks where balls move a little. But I am also sure that he will definitely be in the final fifteeen.

As will Kapali, Pilot and Sumon in the final eleven.

Not sure about Tushar Imran. His confidence level was really low after he played in the test matches in South Africa.

But I guess the selectors will now talk with the team management (it is better late than never) before selecting the final fifteen players.

Take the one day players who did better then the rest in the team first. Then pick the players who can handle faster pitch and just for the heck of it, take Durjoy and Shujon cause for a team like Canada, this two can turn into monsters. Both of them have a history of doing some BEDHOROK PITUNI when it came to minnows.

It's unfortunate that we have to pick the team before Dec 31. They needed to give us/canada/Kenya/Holland and Namibia more time. Say January 25.

I feel bad for whoever doesn't make it

Hannan, Anwar, Ehsanul, Golla, Rokon, Mehrab, Ashraful, Mazhural, Habibul, Tushar, Bulbul, Sanwar, Kapali, Naimur, Akram, Sujon, Pilot, Enamul, Fahim, Tareq, Masri, Shanto, Rafique, Anwar Hossain Monir, Talha, Taposh, Monjural..........gees a lot of ppl will feel unlucky

I think they'll pick Anwar for his batting and incase Pilot get injured or needs a rest

Yes, but we all hope that it doesn't happen (Pilot getting injured).

Anwar will probably get into 15 because of his ability of wkt keeping and also his recent batting performance. Actually if he is in the team, he can be a replacement for the opener - if necessary.

(upto this - confirm)

8. Hannan
9. Rokon
10. Rafique
11. Sanwar
12. Tushar
13. Sujon - not very sure
14. Mashrafee - don't know if he is fit
15. Tapash

Durjoy & Seezan could also get in.
