Default The biggest match of the tournment (must see)

The Equation has changed, West Indies Match is Officially Not The Most Important Match to win. The Voting Suggests West Indies Match is a Must Win!. After Seeing Ireland playing with England, The Match Between England Vs Bangladesh Remains the Hot Favourite Match of the Tournament. This Might be the Decider, The Poll Results suggest something else(. Guys start voting…. England)….

Bangladesh needs 4 wins to guarantee a spot, and 3 wins to have some hope of going to QF. I won't vote coz I think the games with Ned, Eng, and WI are all equally important for bd's chance to qualify. At the min we need a win the two of these 3. We have relatively less chance against SA who are in terrific form right now.

I would like to see two wins out of the next 3 big matches (WI,Eng,SA). Even if we reach QFs by beating IRE,WI and NED, there will still be a feeling that BD hasn't done that much to progress through. But if we get two wins in our bag against 2 of the 3 big teams, the world will understand that our recent dominance over NZ was not only bcuz they played poorly, but also a result of good consistent cricket from us.

However, the first thing we need to do is to get closer to the QFs, and in that regard, we obviously need to beat WI the most bcuz beating WI would open our gates vastly. And I also hope, we won't bat poorly against NED.....they really do have a far better batting line up than IRE.

If we beat WI and NED, some rare combination will need to happen for WI to go through on NRR. (Remember, they already lost to SA.) We need to get Gayle quickly. He can be another Sehwag. Almost.

Although it seems improbable I think the best team Bangladesh can beat is South Africa, they are the worst against spinners.

Get AB and Duminy out, you are in for a shocker

Today's match (England vs India) again showed its not the spinners that are winning games for teams... it is the pacers who are having the most impact (Aussie trio, England's Bresnan, India's Zaheer, Pak's Akhtar, our Shafiul). I think we should get out of this mindset of playing a zillion spinners in the side and start picking three pacers and two specialist spinners just like other teams... Anyone who's under the illusion the English or the SAffers won't be able to play spin well needs a serious wake up call.. and has hopefully watched today's game.

The West Indies match is a must win for us ... We will be 90% into the QF if we win that match because I'm pretty confident that Windies will lose to everyone else apart from the associates ...

Mohammed Ashraful safed himself from Shakib al Hasan's Big KnockOut Punch. This time he was so lucky that he bowled well, His batting is still poor. Am I wrong to say that the supporters of Asharful does'nt know about cricket. If a player fails to perform the whole year, what should you do?, lets look at country example, England, Australi, South Africa, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka = drop them. Bangladesh = (keep them). This is a fact, all the supporters of Ashraful Does'nt Like RaQibul, Why?. In fact RaQibul Hasan is the most consistent player in the team!!!. If Ashraful gets a chance in Next Game well thats becuase of his Bowling.

Slow and turning wicket will be the key to win IMO
Though we have to watch out Imran Tahir...

India will win all their matches, SA will win 5 matches, Ireland or Neds will win win 1 match,i.e, Ireland may beat Neds, or Neds may beat Ireland. hoping BD win 3 matches, WI will surely win 2 matches. England may also beat SA, BD, WI, Ireland and have already beaten Neds.
Top 3 will be India, England and SA, the 4th spot will be a fight between BD and the WI.

ENG may not even make it to the QF! They played the associates and India and is 1-1-1. They might very well end 1-1-4. Let's watch and see what develops.
