I would be so pissed if I'm Kane Williamson/NZ fans.
It's worth noting both Shakib and Mushy have a higher average than Werner this year.

^I agree but again if a Bangladeshi fan puts Shakib over Jadeja in his best eleven he gets criticized back and forth and when a bunch of English fans from Home of Cricket publishes it in one of world's best newspapers it becomes ironically legit for Chappel, Boycott, Shastri etc.

WK position was contested by four.
Bairstow 18 innings 630 runs 35 average 1 century 3 50+ scores.
De Kock 18 innings 595 runs 37 average 1 century 4 50+ scores.
Mushfiq 10 innings 554 runs 69 average 2 centuries 2 50+ scores.
Saha 14 innings 423 runs 42 average 2 centuries 1 50+ scores, 1 duck.
Then in few innings Mushfiq gave up the gloves and scored more runs. Total runs scored in 2017 for him was 766 of 16 innings.
Dickwalla scored total of 773 of 22 innings with 6 50+ scores. Average was 38.65.
Justifiable of his inclusion.

I understand where you are coming from, I still don't think Indians care about Jadeja not being included in the list, if Kohli wasn't there we would have been on a warpath lol. Contrary to popular belief here Shakib is rated very highly in India, till date I haven't seen any Shastris or Gavaskars questioning his no 1 spot. I personally rate Jadeja as a better bowler but Shakib is a better alrounder overall.
Cricket is increasingly becoming brown man's game, give it a couple more decades, them Chappels and Boycotts would come to us for validation.

That's not correct. Yes, it's somewhat true for Indian loi side but not for Indian test side.
If we consider all the formats then kohli is easily the best player in the world right now. No doubt about it. But the current Indian test side would've performed in similar fashion even if "the batsman" '' kohli wasn't in the indian test side.
Almost all the players from Indian test side will walk into any top level test team. Yes, they r really that good.

Shakib is more than deserving, averaging 48 with bat and 33 with the ball is phenomenal.
Mushy not so much and Cloudy is a joke. Bar these two this list looks okay now that I have actually looked at it.

^^^ Oh, so this is what it is for you guys?
Some serious points are being discussed here by people who are experts of the highest order. This is not a spectacle, but instead, it is grandeur.

Disagree with all these remarks against Jimmy Anderson. You don't take 520 test wickets on the presence of clouds alone! I suggest you all go and do some research about swing bowling, there is plenty of academic research literature out there relating to boundary layer science on the cricket ball.
Definitely makes my 11.

You know very little about the game, how many times did you watch him?
Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience - I'll follow mark twains advice and not argue with you too much
Just to point you to some facts
It's been very cloudy in Australia right? Yet he averages 23 good ashes with literally no support, Australia has been his weak point in terms of location his whole career
Averages around 15 in the English summer, where more than half the time there was no cloud cover this time
Has been? He averaged 16,if he's a has been how good was he in his prime
Absolute nonsense by people who don't even watch him, same that thing Stokes is some great all rounder

Man, one thing is for sure, James Anderson is a very good looking guy.
I heard he is the half brother of Pamela Anderson. No wonder they both are so pretty.

That's a direct quote, am not calling you stupid, just your knowledge of the game at times
What's the point of a forum if everyone agrees all the time
