Fatulla is an unlucky venue for Mash. Don't include him in test. My choice for Fatulla test would be,
Shagor-Tamim-Bijoy+-Shourov-Mithu-Moyna*-Nasir-Taijul-Likhon-Shahid-Taskin-Raju
Provided that all guns fire this could be an ideal line-up for test, besides a good fielding side also.

I saw in fb a couple of days earlier that Minhajul Abedin said Al Amin is not in squad due to behavioral problem. Didn't see any source though.

Lol anamul? You really want those 20-2 after 10 overs all over again? Mushfiq has to bat 4 and face as many balls no point having overrated Anamul who plays for himself on flat tracks is clueless on the big stage with some swing and good bowling. After 2 ncl innings shouldn't be rushed back in. If anyone deserves a chance in the top order its Litton.

It's just the preliminary squad. I am actually glad he is included(or anybody for that matter). They have to go through special training camp and they really need it to improve their skill sets.

Good initial squad. I hope they are judicious while trimming it. Test performances should not give you a place in the ODI squad and vice versa. I can just see Imrul getting a call-up in ODIs ahead of Liton due to his Test form.
ODIs:
Tamim
Liton
Soumya
Mushfiq
Riyad
Shakib
Shabbir
Mash
Rubel
Sunny
Taskin
Anamul, Nasir, Taijul, Mustafizur
Test:
Tamim
Imrul
Liton
Mominul
Shakib
Mushfiq
Riyad
Taijul
Shahid
Jubair
Mustafizur
Rony, Nasir, Shafiul

For ODI, I like to see Tamim and Bijoy to open, then Sarker to come...
Here is my ODI squad:
TI
Bijoy
Sarker
Mullah
Shak
Mushy
Nasir
Sabbir/RBX/Taskin
Mash
Mustafizur
Sunny

I beg to differ. Anamul is a quality player and has incredible hand-eye coordination and has an appetite for scoring hundreds in ODIs. He was unlucky with that injury at the World Cup otherwise would have delivered.

I know his is a prelim squad for India series and mushy will keep in this series but obviously the selectors are only looking at anamul or liton to take the gloves after otherwise they should have picked a specialist keeper for this prelim squad. If they are inking of someone else and didn't pick them here then they missed an opportunity to introduce that other keeper into the squad earlier to give them some exposure around the squad and coaches.

this is why they need mushy to decide his situation now, if liton plays the test as a specialist bat in this series and he bats at 4 or higher then mushy gives up the gloves and he ends up batting lower down the order then it's mucking him around, if he plays this series they should play him where they expect his long term role to be, I don't want to see him batting at 3 in this test then keeping and batting at 7 in the next one.

Al amin not even in the preliminary squad.
and what? People want anamul to open again? lol. How many times we saw our both openers scoring run freely like they did in pak series during last 2 year when anamul was opening with tamim? No thanks.I don't want to see 25-0 after 10 over or 50-0 after 20 over again. We don't need a player with a SR of 70.00 to open our innings.

soumya has the ODI opener spot secured and imrul has the test spot so neither anamul or liton will open unless they change that up and they've been doing well so they shouldn't....

Al Amin wont return easily as Papon has zero tolerance about discipline. I heard he went to Pub and got drunk during WC . LATER he started swearing at his captain and manager for not including him in best 11. Also had a fight with Rubel on a girl issue. If all these true then pathetic from Al amin. BCB did the best for the cricket. Nothing happens without reasons.

Surely riyad should be given more tries at #3, with riyad at 3 we fit both sabbir and nasir in the XI which is good imo.
