Lets Talk about Rajin Again......
I just can't think rajin's days are over so soon. Its pretty sure that he does not posses talent like ash or aftab but he surely is determined to fill up the gap with hard work. He was out of form and was rightly left out of the NatWest series for the first 3 matches. How about the upcoming matches? We all are expecting rana to replace taposh and it would be a bitter surprise if that does not happens. but how about rajin? do any of you feel like he should be given some more chance in ODI. Tushar was never able to impress me, and does not seem like will do any good if we keep playing him. I say we give rajin another chance for couple matches instead of him.
so my team for the next ODI will look like the following. I didnot like the inclusion of Abir in place of Nafees but since he is in, its not fair to swap them once again, he should be given at least 2 more matches to prove himself.
My team according to batting order:
- Javed Omar
- Shahriar Nafis
- Mohammad Ashraful
- Aftab Ahmed
- Habibul Bashar
- Rajin Saleh
- Manjarul Rana
- Khaled Masud
- Mohammad Rafique
- Mashrafee Mortaza
- Nazmul Hossain

If Tushar fails again in the next match, then we may think about bringing back Rajin.
my batting line-up:
Aftab @ 3
Ash @ 4
Tushar @ 6
Pilot @ 7
Rafique/Rana @ 8 (depending on situation)

Another advantage of brining in rajin is that bashar will have some bowlnig option. rajin can squeeze in a few overs if a bowler is not having a good time.

I still have some hope for Tushar and would like to see him how he does at #6 before Dav and Co. completely destroys his career. He is no #3 batsman thats for sure. Either drop him or let him play at #6.
In case of Rajin. If he can get his from back, he could solve our bowling problem a little bit as a 6th/7th bowler. But out of form Rajin is too painful to watch.

Rajin is one the best players we have in the team. He has the ability to become a solid alrounder. He already has proven his abilities in all 3 areas of cricket: batting, bowling, fielding. He is out of form now but It will be an wrong to ascertain that his career with the Bd team is over. I think the management will soon call him back because the inclusion of Tushar has porven to be disasterous.

No need to talk 'bout Rajin!
After the first Netwest game against England, people were screeming to bring back Tapash despite knowing he wasn't in the best of form! So, he played against Australia, and no one said drop him. But when he played against England again, the same people said kick him out. Some even suggested that against Australia, Tapash was the most venomless among BD players.
So, please, please, and please Give Rajin a break! I don't want the same story being repeated. I like him.

pointless ..this.
Nafees will not be dropped just after one match.. they will not do that they have been very uniform to giove someone at least two chances...
one can argue that they should have given iqbal another chance.. just to be sure.. but his weakness is so visible.. can't see any change in middle order either.....

Looking at Australia today... I would rather go for Rajin in place of Iqbal or Shahriyar as an opener along side JO. We tried all and may be.. he will click at this spot. Frankly we already done our part at the Natwest tropy and I wont mind giving one more chance for Rajin.
About Tushar.. he should stay. He looks a much better batsmen and looks like a person can score around 30 to 40 odd runs. He was unlucky in the last match. The ball was too good for him.

Rajin is only good in slow pitch. so he is not suitable for England.

Even you bring Rajin, Kapali, babu, faisal, Moniruzzaman, and others they won't stay in crease crossing 20 runs.
Overall result will be the same only 15 runs difference.

True!
We still are 2 batsmen short in the top-2 who are consistant. Those are position-2 and position-3 or 6.
With JO, Ash, Aftab, Bashar within the first 6 and pilot at 7... we still need 2 more consistant batsmen!

We are moving on a circle.
Now we just want back Rajin in the team even though he did not do anything special in this tour so far.
I did not like N Ahmed in the team against England, but now I want him to continue for another game at least. We should try him in more matches.
Only change BD team can make is bring Rana in instead of Taposh, since we do not have any good pacer to replace Taposh at the moment.
