Suhrawadi Shuvo's figures of 3-0-46-0 on Monday gave him the third-worst economy rate of all time in an ODI, among bowlers who have sent down at least three overs in an innings. Dolar Mahmud holds the record with 3-0-49-0 against Sri Lanka in 2008, and Sreesanth is second with 3-0-48-0, also against Sri Lanka in 2008.
http://www.espncricinfo.com/banglade...ry/510636.html
He needs to break Dolar's record in the next match.

Shuvo sucks at bowling, I would rather have Kapali and Hom over him.

I don't see any real potentiel in Shuvo,he is ordinary in both.

Looks like my early assessment of Shuvo was right. I thought the match against NZ would be the turning point for him but that didn't happen. Fast track Nur and/or Shaker. Maybe it's time to get rid of Razzak as well. The guy's a horror in the field. Naeem is probably a better bowler these days than both of them combined. Yeah, I'd recall Naeem as a specialist bowler for the Zim series and give one or both of them the chop.

I dont think Shuvo is a that bad a bowler.
Remember when Shakib came into the team? he was much worse than Shuvo,Shuvo started off at a better place and hopefully will improve.
The thing that kids like Shuvo doesn't have is experience, for instance none of our domestic bowlers were ever exposed to hitting like 2nd ODI's. Unless you play in those situation earlier, you are unlikely to come out victorious the first time in international cricket. Give Shuvo a prolong run, at least another 10-15 games, if he still doesn't do well then bring in Nur/Shabbir/Ilyas etc.

all our players will fall under that caterogy if you compare...our domestic structure need big changes to lift the quality and standard...nothing is changing...even after such slow progress(!) we have the same thing what we had couple of years back...Shuvo performed consistently in domestic and claimed his position in national team but you can not change the quality overnight...BCB is the same old and will never learn how to prepare these young promising cricketers.

Shuvo have pretty well in most of the matches he played. One very bad day doesn't make him a crappy bowler.
Do we call Stuwart Broad a crappy bowler? We don't.

But I still think he will be better bowler than Razzak, one match doesn't make him crap. it was all Watson's day !!

I may not understand spinners that well but I do know that ever since Rafique left all our left arm spinners do is bowl on the leg side.. why? what happend to the skid balls? bowling slower deliveries or arm balls? Did the spinners forget it all together? You see the first ball going for six, why didnt the bowlers change their lines to off stump or bowl low? Heck, even Zimbabwan bowlers would know that..
I have to blame Razzaque and Shakib for not giving tips to rookie bowlers..

For every freaking poor performance.. the players/ team management has an excuse. WHen India made 370, it was the wrong decision to put them to bat first, against WI when we got all out for 58 it was the immense pressure/expectation.. and now Watson's record breaking innings is because of a once in a lifetime innings (not poor bowling or fielding).
The truth is, the team is not comepetitive and professional like the top 7 cricketing nations. We need to revamp our first class cricketing structure, get good coaches from ground up. Otherwise soon countries like Ireland and Afghanistan is going to overtake us.. We have been playing test cricket for over 10 years, it's high time that we take responsibility and not blame pitches, luck e.t.c.
