Weather Alert!
My dream is in time this thread becomes sticky and immortalized in the classic Hall of Fame thread.
So I got good news ...and bad news? What do you want to hear?
Bad news it is.
Chance of Thunderstorm at Dacca, possibility of reduced match, my oracle says.
https://weather.com/weather/today/l/23.71,90.41
Good news.
We won't be slammed with innings defeat or lose to Azerbaijan from DL match.
Enjoy. I am off to Seal Beach.

It was lovely. The signature of that beach is you can see the naval warships.
Meanwhile on topic:

Naval Warships of the past, still operating?
Got this from Wikipedia :
" The United States Navy's Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach was originally constructed during World War II for loading, unloading, and storing of ammunition for the Pacific Fleet, and especially those US Navy warships home-ported in Long Beach and San Diego, California. With closure of the Concord Naval Weapons Station in Northern California, it has become the primary source of munitions for a majority of the U.S. Pacific Fleet.[10]"

There is rain forecast for the 3rd ODI !! Noooooooo...
It will be anti-climactic with so much hype and tension building around it. Any update from CTG people?

Forecast hasn't changed much. Looks like 2-4pm there is rain and then 5pm-7pm. D/L could be the decider.

we might get 40 overs max if the weather report holds to be true(Actually, I might be wrong, Chittagong drainage facility not as good as Dhaka) Dhaka has the best drainage facility in the world i think. so if drainage is bad, game might be called off...

^ They have upgraded the drainage system in CTG. They have a world class drainage now. So I am not worried about that.
I just want to win the series. 10 overs holeo I want to win

In the mean time, Bangladesh v England: Nasser Hussain and Nick Knight preview 'spicy' third ODI:

Very good analysis. Especially about Nasir Hossain.

Sort of an al-furqannish comment: I'd rather they end this series 1-1 and England lose the test series.

Well, although that would break our winning streak, at least we will continue our unbeaten streak. That actually sounds better. Makes us sound like invincible.

CTG's drainage has been improved, and I am sure it is as good as any in the world.
Remember SA vs BD 3rd ODI last year? The match started 20 minutes after a 2 hour long downpour!

Drainage is good in ZACS, so hopefully we get something of a match and can wrap up the series. If its a whitewash...that is 7 consecutive home series without a loss.

For all the weather experts out there, does prediction get accurate once time passes more and more?
This is the recent:
"Periods of rain and a thunderstorm"
tar mane ki khela periodically hobe?
