How long have you been following/watching Bangladesh Cricket?
Lets see who are the biggest suckers here
I have been following for 20+ years. I have seen losing to Canada before eid, I have seen Sri lankan batsmans scoring 100 and retiring one after one in a test match. I have seen making 58 and 78 in our home at the the WC. I have seen losing to a picnic HK side at T20 WC at home.
But I dont think I ever felt this dejected after losing yesterday...
Its not because we lost to Afg its because what the future holds for us after 18 years in top level cricket. no future player we can hope on. one becon of hope we had in the fizz is declining. he only looks good as others suck so much. wheres a new comer team like Afg have at least one if not two soon to be future great spinners .
I wish I did something significant instead of wasting time with this pathetic team.

T20 cricket is very dumb cricket. It has some entertainment value in the right setting i suppose. And cricket is a very poor sport to follow due the amount of time it takes for a match.
It's a waste of time. TBH i didn't feel anything, it was expected. Nor would I have felt joy had BD won. i watched few overs out of habit.

I have been following Bangladesh for more than 20 years.
Ofcourse it has never been easy supporting the team due to the numerous amount of failures. However it has also given me moments of joy as well.
However I will remain being a supporter through thick and thin because after all its the only major competitive sport that Bangladesh is a regular participant of. People might think I might be wasting my time, but I feel I can never detach myself from following the team as I have been following them for so many years.
TBH We have come along way and are now capable of putting up a team which the opponents take more seriously. We have been in some finals as well. InshahAllah I hope our team sees out this bad phase and rise again.
Dont let the hope die and keep the faith

I think I started following Bangladeshi Cricket since 94 ICC Trophy when our archrival Kenya knocked us out from 2nd round. My dad used to get club tickets and I used to go to stadium with my elder cousins. It was mostly Bangladesh vs any other A teams.
I used to read the sports page from top to bottom of our daily newspaper. Can't forget the sweet revenge we took against Kenya with the help of rain in 97 ICC Torphy, Lipu/Farooq's failed attempts, then AKram Khan's gr8 captaincy, Bashar's taking it forward, the rise of Norail Express, Ashrafool - the wonder kid, the sensation of Shakib, Tamim - the explosive batsman - I enjoyed everything.
I had a blackout period (2004-10) during my coming to Canada for my post-secondary studies. Couldn't follow BAN cricket during that period as much as I used to back home.

Started to follow BD cricket from 2003/4. Back in those days, I didn’t have internet access.
Use to keep up to date with teletext than bbc red button (interactive service).
My first match on TV was the Australia Vs Bangladesh (Cardiff), it was on free to air channel.

Since 1999. I used to check BD scores teletext (those who are familiar with) early 2000s at times as I didn’t have sports channels nor did I have time to watch as high school days were busy.
