I read your frustration. I think the selectors are impartial in selecting folks but they are running out of options as there is not a regular breeding ground for cricket players in Bangladesh (e.g. a healthy cricket league) at the moment.
Also I think the most talented people in Bangladesh don't play cricket as a profession. Atahar Ali, Nehal Hasnain, Yousuf babu were exceptions. Just think about the possibility of how many middle class families think about sending their son(s) to play professional cricket. They would rather prefer their children pick a safe route of get an education, get married and live happily ever after. That minimizes risk also considered respectable. Think about the scenario below:
Q: "cheley ki koray?"
A: cricket kheley
Q: koto taka beton pai?
A: (really a difficult question to answer)
