Default Cricket gets Olympic Recognition

Cricket get Olympic Recognition by IOC for two years, usually granted to sports that are not part of the Olympic programme but conform to its ideals of youth promotion and anti-doping policies. Cricket could receive permanent status in 2009 and then will be eligible to be part of the Olympics. What do you think? Is it really going to be happen??

It is likely that Twenty20 cricket, the shortest format of the game, will be played at the 2010 Asian Games in the Chinese city of Guangzhou.

T20 will be a perfect addition in olympics, esp for the p.r. of cricket in world stage.

Will Olympic cricket get ICC recognition? Although I think most top nations will choose to send their youth team or academy team. In that case BD should mix up a team like that with 1 or 2 seniors. That might be a good practice IMHO.

No, I say we send our national team and win like the Gothia cup that we won couple of decades ago.

If they include cricket in Olympic, does that mean who ever wins they get 11 gold medals. if that the case then we should support the idea because in that way we can at least gets some medal on table, weather its gold , sliver or bronze.
