Team Selection
Murali took 5 wickets. Moni got 4 so far. What does that tell you?
I wish they had Sumit in the team at least, let alone Rafiq.
SL will play favoring the spinner as their strength is Murali. How hard is that to understand??? I would rather put 3 spinner and 2 pacer in grounds like this.
Talha did pretty good with taking 2 wickets, but poor Alamgir is having a bad debut.

For the doubters
Been SCREAMING RAFIQUE RAFIQUE ever since the BD team was named. Well guess what ?
Moni at his ripe age of 36-38 takes 4 wickets at a run rate of under 4. 38-6-144-4.
Look at the two pacers manju and Talha. Manju 128/2, 25 ov and Talha 121/2, 20 ov. Alamgir to wicket e paaini. Does this say anything ? ANYONE ?
They had to bowl Sumon cause he is a (part) parttime spinner - SPINNER. Ki r komu. Selector hoite taka lagena, EGO na thakle to aaro bhalo. EGO tai to amader cricket er boro shutru. Kichu kichu player der to aachei, abar BCB'r kormokottader o EGO'r thelai team selection barbaar gondogol hoye jaai.

I dont get it. India will always play 2 spinner, and sometimes 3 depending on the pitch. How come we dont learn from our neighbors.
I dont understand who put it in their brain that good or bad, 3 pacer is a must. I believe, even if BD had 4 muralitharans, BD would still play only one of him, and put Monjur, Talha and Alamgir there.

Update from cable TV
I can give you some updates watching from the highlights of the cable TV (of Day 2) and the full day's play on day 3.
Lets talk about Day 2. At the end of Day Two, Sumit and Pilot dropped catches (heard from the commentators that nobody dropped or missed a catch other than these 2 at the last part of the SriLankan Innings).
Pilot at first dropped one of the last SriLankan batsman off the bowling of SUMON, yes you read it right - SUMON.
If he could caught it, Sumon could have
got his maiden Test Wicket.
And then Sumit - (who as stated by the commentators took a brilliant catch earlier) dropped or rather missed a catch off the bowling of MONI.
If he could catch it, then Moni could have got his first ever 5-wicket-haul in test matches.
