Default The only thing that looks good in this match..

A very bad day of cricket by Bangladesh, no doubt. BD players have shown total lack of ability to come back after early setbacks... both in bowling and batting.

The only good thing that comes out of this match... is that the SriLankan team looks so sooo very good that there is a very good chance that they will beat India on friday.

Everything else.... well... is really looking pretty poor!

Yes that, and Bashar finally scored 18 runs, now his world cup total runs batted is 19. Much better average (4.75) than before (0.33).

Trying to buy himself the #5 slot I guess. Not a bad idea. If Sakib's useless 67* against Srilanka is good enough to cement his #4 place, then Ash's useless 20* should be good enough to make him a contender for #5 position.

What do you suggest? Hit out and go home within 35 overs? The fans wouldn't like that.

I do not know what some fans want from the team, atleast I want them to use the bat in a sensible manner. Show that you know how to face tough balls and stay out there, keep rotating strikes. not just block balls, take singles and twos, not go up in the air hiting 4s and 6s but play ground strokes.

what an unprofessional, non-focused way to end a match full of unprofessional moment. Fielder knows that the batsman will try to pinch a single to protect Rasel from Malinga. Both batsmen know it - yet Rasel forgets to back up well and that 1/2 second cost him his wicket. Let's hope this match acts as a big kick up the hiney to the Tigers and bring about a clinical performance against Bermuda. And some of their more over-zealous fans should take note too.

Now gooooooooooooo Lanka

Now, lets hope Jayasuria is not injured and he can pull up a similar performance against India.

One thing for sure, SL will do their best to win that game. Otherwise, SL will go to 2nd round without any point, but India will.

Unless of course, we can score at a rate of +6 of Bermuda's RR. That is if they score at 4, we score at 10, they score at 3, we score at 9.

We came to this World Cup with a lot of expectations, and I wouldn't lose hope until the end. That's it.

At least we know that SL > India in both batting and bowling. So I'll be anxiously following the next game.

100% agree on that... Sri Lanka have been impressive! Jayasuriya back at his best and the bowling side is simply the best in the world!
It's really a good thing that teams will bring to the Super-8 the points won against the other qualified team from same group, so SL will play a real match to India...

Positive for Bangladesh: good bowling by Rafique and Saqib and some good shots and a good score (45*) by Ashraful.

Ashraful's 45* was good about the match..
And seriously .. Mushy should only bat at 3 when we are chasing something under 200..or else its shud be Aftab following and if the RR is good Sakib,Ashraful can come.
