The right and left combination Sachin and Ganguly completed 6000 run in ODI as opening partner. This is also world record.How long they will continue?India should make another pair of their substitute.

6000 runs, now that's totally wicked. I see Tiwary and possibly Karthik or Gambhir trying to fill those shoes eventually ... a very tall order indeed. Can Yusuf Pathan open BTW ?

Tendulkar/Ganguly combination is the best opening combination for India. Hopefully it will continue for a few more years yet.

They are the best opening pair in modern cricket. Both are attacking. If one gets out early, the other one takes the attack. They also compliment each other so well. Sometimes Sachin goes after one bowler and Ganguly after the other. Many times one scores fast and the other one just rotates strike....they are just superb.
