anyone buy cricket equipment from here?
http://www.bigbluecricket.com/
i just ordered some leg guards, gloves, and a ball 4 days ago...paid with google checkout and the order page says "order not shipped yet" on checkout.google.com.
the store has a number, but no one has picked up...
has anyone bought anything from them? i am slightly worried i just got taken for $63...
although i did buy EA cricket 2005 from them (via amazon) 2 years ago without any problems.

Depends on what you are buying. If you buy something like bat, then its better to go to a shop but you really get cheap excellent deals in cricket balls. And I mean really good buys. As for scams, you gotta be an experienced one and so long you don't buy of someone with tonnes or negative remarks you should be fine.

heh. back in my day a kookaburra, Gunn & Moore or Grey Nicholls would set you back a fortune. So I went with a fake Kookaburra that used to have horrid jarring if the ball hit the toe.
But my god I loved that bat... its sweet spot was the best thing ever. I'm not a power hitter, so for the drives, glances and cuts... it gave me the best response, and power hitters at the model school maath were always full of praise for my bat.
Just goes to show, it might not be worth it to spend a fortune on a genuine bat when you can get a lesser brand (Larsons, BAS) that'll serve your purposes just as good.
