How do you relax?
As simple as that...how do you relax? How do you unwind after a hectic day? What's the one thing that you look forward to the most when being deluged with work?
For me, its sitting down with a good book (or a good tv show) with a cup of hot cocoa or really cold iced tea (depending on my mood). Sometimes, I just crank the AC to about the mid 50s, lie down and pull up the blanket, and read myself to sleep. A nice playlist accentuates such simple pleasures.
This thread might seem a bit Puck-esque.

It might sound a bit stupid, but I can't remember when was the last time that I relaxed. I've had quite a hard life so far...and it's not gonna get better until I find a good job.
However, to me...a cup of coffee, on a couch...with nothing going on around me seems to be the ideal situation where I can breathe for a few minutes. I wouldn't call it "relaxation", though.

I listen to music...
not just any music but Habib's music .. i dunno why but his songs make me think and his music is the chill out type music. So my way of relaxation is by listening to music with a hot cup of tea or cofee... or coke.....lol

I used to "relax" (doze off) during boring corporate meetings pretending to read the notes. Sadly, the telecommuting era has ended those power naps. Now I pretend to "relax" by playing GT-4 but this results in soar fingers and bruised ego after an hour. I also try lying in bed taking a nap but that results in being soar all over and more tired with my wife walkin around sheepishly smiling. So the only time I actually relax is when I'm at a coffeshop/bookstore on Saturday afternoon "working" on my laptop and dozing off sipping on a smoothie. That is until one of my kids bang me in the head. One of these days i hope to relax somewhere down in Sunny Florida with my significant other sereneding me with her guitar. But that'll probably wait until we get read of 'em lil devils (i.e. send them off to college).

Its a shame if someone uses up a lot of time in BC and complains about relaxation. BC should be the best form of relaxation after sleeping unless you are participating in some heated threads. The best way of asking the same question is how do you relax while you are in BC. What do i do while i am in BC? I think about you and feel sorry, yes its YOU starting with a capital Y.
