What were the celebrations like in Bangladesh?
.. After the last wicket was taken? Obviously the Bangladesh-based BC members will hopefully be able to answer.

I hope it would be more like sigh of relief than celebration.

agree with tigers eye.
we shouldnt do celebration that much. i was happy to win after 4 yrs, win is win but we have to see the opposition. Bd lose badly after any win, so we have to keep in mind.
and opposition was very weak WI, its like west indies B team
bunch of discarded and almost retired and some unknown--who gets unexpected call just day before the match, still they give fight.
I am happy we won but we should do real celebration after a win against strong team.

Even a single ODI win against Gayle and Co. (1st or 2nd match) who were unfortunate against the mighty Dhoni's team would bring people out in the streets with flags.

There were hardly any celebration and most people was sleeping!!
Mind you it was 4 in the morning and only hardcore fans like us were up all night to witness the historic moment. Plus it was a test match on weekday, and with our record, not many were encouraged to lose precious sleep to watch the expected torture.
Given the fact that the match started at 8.30 in the evening every day, most people only watched a little bit in the beginning, if they did. Unlike the few fanatic us, the majority of Bangladeshis, in my opinion, were just happy to follow the proceedings via news paper.
Now that we have a win under our belt, things might change a bit in the next game though.

I see. Well its actually a good news that our fans are being a bit more stable with their emotions. Its just a game, thats the way to take it. A win? good, thank you, continue. A loss, try again.
Its good that people are not going super crazed now a days about cricket. I guess years of torture has atleast done something better for us. we can take the losses.

I danced and giggled all night in a dark room in the hospital all by myself!
