Default Bangladesh to play Barbados and England in warm-up matches before World Twenty20

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/cricket/8141745.stm
Bangladesh v Barbados XI, April 27
Bangladesh v England, April 28

Both the matches are in Barbados. While Pakistan get both their matches in St. Lucia the venue where we face them for our first official match of the tournament. Looks like ICC and WICB are doing their best to ensure Bangladesh doesn't go through this time. A lot of teams have opted not to play warm-up matches.

Barbados is good place to have warm up and training. The facility is much better than st lucia.

Hey, C'mon, please dont try to sniff a conspiracy out of everything.

Pakistan is the current world champions and I'm sure they have a first say about the venue.
I'm sure when we do become the champion one day, we'd get our share too.
Mind you, as much as we might not like it, in the cricket world, pakistan is still a heavy weight and between us and them, i'm not surprised they got things their way.

Many countries opted out of warm up matches simply because most of their players are in IPL and already getting more than enough T20 match practice. Its only Bangladesh and Pakistan who are desperate to have some quality warm ups. Thats why England is in too, only couple of their players are in IPL.

Great to have a warm up against England. Its about time to practice against some real T20-ers than amongst themselves in PCL, NCL teams. I wish the other warm up were with some big teams too.

I am not sure if UK Sky Sports will televise this though.
