Default Match Thread: ICC WC, Match 6, Group A: Pakistan v Kenya, Hambantota, Feb 23, 2011

Aaargh! Another day-night match! Is the subcontinent overflowing with electricity or what?!

I want to see Kenya pulling an Ireland on Pakistan (come on Tikolo, give us something to remember you by in your last show on the big stage!). But, according to CI preview, the match will be played on a flat batting surface, which makes Pakistan even harder to beat!

Anyway, I will love to read commentary from my fellow BCiets (who will watch it) on the match, when I wake up tomorrow morning

I am worried about the pakistan cricketers and whether they will be able to concentrate on the game today... things are way too peaceful in their camp... and whats worse even Izaz Butt isn't making some of his inllectual remarks to the press to bring back the attention!... I guess now its left to Waqar and Shoaib to heat things up between them during the tournament so that normalcy can return to the team...

Watching Kenyan bowlers, I am missing Syed Rasel. Why can't we find another good slow medium pacer like him?!

Pitch actually has a good amount of juice on it! Got a lesson not to pay much attention to CI preview!

I love Sri Lankan wickets as opposed to the slog fest wickets of India... Bowlers with skill will be successful in the matches here...
on this wicket in september 2010, an unofficial test match between Pakistan A and Sri Lankan A finished within two days... 20 wickets fell on the first day... and 13 fell on the next day...

See, what a difference the pitch makes! Other day Shafiul got slaughtered for bowling in same lengths!
