That is a serious magnitude. Anything remote close to that in our part of the world there would be minimum of 5 zeros added in the casualty list. RIP.

Guptill dropped, newcomer Jeet Raval set to debut, opening the batting.
Can Pakistan continue their success? And transfer it to NZ?

Stats and trivia
Both Misbah and Alastair Cook have 24 Test victories as captain, making them the most successful leaders still active in the game. Both men have the chance to edge ahead, with England's match with India also starting on Thursday
The Christchurch Test is Williamson's first as captain, at home. He has begun his leadership career with two victories, one draw and three losses
New Zealand have not beaten Pakistan in a series since 1985. In 53 Tests between the teams, New Zealand have won just eight matches; Pakistan have won 24.

Hmm idk what I want the outcome to be, a Pak win could make them demotivated against us or might make them take their revenge out on us. A NZ win might make the complacent or high on confidence against us.
NZ will deffo have a bone to pick with us after what we done to them last two times they toured us lol

Four day test match about to start...
For those curious about the conditions

So Kane Williamson has won a toss! New Zealand are going to bowl first at Hagley Oval.
98 overs in the day they are hoping for.
2 debutants for NZ: Raval and Grandhomme
2nd test for Babar Azam

Bradman Azam just dismissed for 7
Two fresh batsmen at the crease on 0* each. The two most experienced Pakistani batsmen, Younis and Misbah

Now the debutant gets the experienced 111-test veteran Younis out....he's having a terrific test debut so far.
Pakistan are 57/4

Kiwi unleashing their humiliation/anger/frustration (they got from India) last month against Pakistan in their own den: expected.

So Bangladesh better look for a Kiwi-wash(which sounds so refreshing).
