BCB have finally appointed a foreign coach for its Under 19 team. In the last edition, Stuart Law worked as a consultant-wasnt a full time coach.
Before this the last time BD had a proper Under 19 coach was Alaistair de Winter back in 2005 ish. Many of De Winters students form the core of the team today.
Damien Wright seems to have a lot of experience, including head coach of a Big Bash team.
Good move. Best possible attention must be given from the Under 19 setup.
Great news indeed. Now BCB needs to appoint a good couch for the A-team.
BCB should form the A-team as a back up of the National team, not just fill up with the likes of Alok who does NOT have a slightest chance to come back to the national team IMHO.

Welcome to the coach. Recently under the local coaches, our under 19 team has become too defensive minded and too reliant on spinners. They have been playing 50 overs games like it's 1997. Hopefully this coach will bring back some aggressiveness and positive mindset to the under 19 team and teach them how to play modern cricket. Best wishes to the coach.
You know who'd make a great coach? Kumar sangakkara, guy is as professional as you can get and is as smart as they come, plus his career is motivational and inspirational.
Welcome Coach! Hope he joins Banglacricket and shares his views and opinions on how he is going to improve Bangladeshi cricket at the level he can have a most impact at, like Mccinnes did once. Looking forward.

Sri Lankan's are already raving about Mahela Jayawardene's ability as a coach following his success with Mumbai Indians.
Brave personality and master tactician. He might be considered as an option for Sri Lanka after 2019.
Sanga will also be a terrific coach/mentor. But chances are the guy will retire from the sport gracefully similar to the likes of Sachin, Steve Waugh etc. Doubt he will even join board due to the politics. Btw the guy has bought an island in the middle of a beautiful like. There are two other islands, nearby, one was bought by Jaqueline Fernandez, anyone wants the other?

Maybe Match Adda will buy it.
On topic- I agree with Gowza.
