Last Asia cup was a big succes due to the Bangladesh crowds every game was packed. unlike the previous Asia cup held in SL, Pk other nations where such dull and boring tournements!
This Asia cup 2014 edition will be hit once again cause its in BD the most passionate cricket fans!!
Bangladesh are runners up from last asia cup. Bangladesh will take alott of beliefs and confidence from the excellent proformances in the last asia cup going into this Asia cup and have a good chance to win this. InshAllah!

Is it really? The Asia Cup 2010 in SL was really good. I think there were packed crowd too. However, I feel Asia Cup should be hosted by Associates for every alternate turns rather than full members, this is how it was previously. Nepal, UAE, Malaysia or Singapore could be the hosts.

Star Life Ok (Sky 783) will cover Asia Cup in UK. If you have basic Family entertainment package you should be able to watch it.

How are the pitches going to be? I believe Fatullah will have less than average but Mirpur will have more than average bounce. For Fatullah, captains probably should win the toss and chose to field ... so that they can take dew advantage. For Mirpur, batting first should probably be better choice.

Last Asia cup turned he whole dynamic of our team. We went from Stuart Law to Pybus to Jurgensen. But we still preformed pretty well in ODI's. But everything seems to be crumbling now. I really hope our leader/coach can somehow manage to bring the group back together again. Based on last Asia Cup's performance, people will have a lot of expectation on BD. We can't afford any let down. We need to show that we really did grow as a team, otherwise all the good work we did over the last 1-2 year will mean nothing.

Still India is the best batting side IMO.

Is the dew going to be a big factor through out this tournament? I would hate to have the winner be decided based on the result of the toss.
